Data Abstraction Layer

The data abstraction layer comprises a number of classes which are used to persist bibliographic data. When the user loads a database, the respective database wrapper initializes objects to represent the data contained in that database. Hence BibWorm manifestations can operate with a wide variety of different data formats thus allowing users maximum flexibility and great freedom of choice.
